Make-up
As many dental treatments involve water sprays, try to wear waterproof makeup and avoid mascara. Try to avoid fake tan and fake eyelashes. It’s also good to use setting powder makeup that is simple to reapply after your appointment. Instead of lipstick or lipgloss, try a lip balm instead – this will help prevent your lips drying out and will not easily be washed off during the appointment.
Clothes
Try to avoid clothes that are valuable or sentimental as they can be damaged with the water and/or coloured dental materials. Try to wear neutral or dark colours, and avoid wearing your work shirt if you’re on your lunch break! Avoid turtle necks and high collared shirts. Ideal dental clothes are gym/louge/sports wear or anything your are most comfortable in.
