"Wow! Wow! Wow! From beginning to end I have nothing but amazing things to say about Harley Street Smile Clinic. (HSSC)
Like most people considering cosmetic dentistry, I did a lot of research beforehand. I wanted to make sure that I chose the right place for me that balanced reasonable cost and more importantly, excellent work. I had contacted a couple of other clinics prior to HSSC just to find out more information and just felt pressured to commit to expensive costs and to start procedures quickly. That didn’t make me feel comfortable at all. It was the exact reverse with HSSC.
At this point in time I was in contact with Jill and Anna. They answered all my questions and put me at ease. There was a lot of back and forth but they never minded: importantly I didn’t feel like I was being pressurised into making a decision. After reading the testimonials and reading the reviews, I decided that this was the place for me.
My dentist, Sahil Patel, took a lot of time talking to me, finding out what I didn’t like, what research I had done before, my dental history and answering any questions I had. He guided me through the options I had available to me and together we chose the right one for me. I told him that I was very nervous after some really bad dental experiences when I was younger and he made sure that I was always comfortable, that I was fully aware of what he was doing and emphasised that we could pause at any time during procedures. He was incredible!
I had some veneers and gum sculpting. I had heard that the procedures could be uncomfortable and a bit painful. I was very nervous about this. However, there was no need for me to be nervous, I was in excellent hands and any discomfort was minimal and well managed. High praise indeed for the care that I received!
The end result is out of this world! I have the confidence to smile for everyone to see. Harley Street Smile Clinic helped me to achieve this and I cannot thank them enough. There are many clinics out there that are much cheaper but I feel that the quality of the work, the service and the care that you get from HSSC makes this MORE than reasonable - this is your smile after all, it’s one of the first things that people see! (Equally, there are more expensive clinics out there - but more expensive doesn’t necessarily mean better.)
I would say to anyone else looking intro finding a clinic to undergo cosmetic dentistry; do your research but DEFINITELY get in touch with these guys! I would recommend them to everyone...and anyone that would listen!!"

Today I had my teeth contoured by Sahil Patel and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone at the practice was so lovely and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. "Most of my friends want nice cars, but I've always wanted nice teeth. They were OK as a kid, but I chipped them a couple of times and broke one of my front teeth as a teenager which was followed by a lot of rough composite jobs and what seemed like endless filing and grinding by different dentists who didn't seem to mind shrinking my teeth as much as I later did when I realised how much smaller they had got.
At some point, my bottom ones became an overcrowded mess that I obviously couldn't resist annoyingly feeling with my tongue. Later on, I tried braces and yet more composite. My teeth became nice and straight, but they were still quite small to me, and the composite was rough and stood out when I whitened my other teeth. I started halfheartedly looking at veneers online. I never thought I'd ever actually go through with it because of the price and the rumours of filed down gremlin spikes and gigantic fake white lego teeth. I did a lot of research and I finally took things more seriously when I came across the Harley Street Smile clinic and all of their great reviews. I didn't want to mess around this time. It was obvious that my teeth were important to me and I wanted to go to the best place I could find on Harley Street. I figured they would be well out of my budget though and I'd start at the top and work my way back. The price was surprisingly reasonable and the people I spoke to were very caring and attentive to my questions. I was booked in for a consultation the following week.
When I arrived, the place exceeded my expectations. A Hogwarts of dentists it was meticulously clean and everyone was warmly welcoming and went out of their way to answer all of my questions and make sure I was comfortable. I met my dentist, Dr Sahil Patel who carried out a very relaxed and honest consultation with me to make sure I had considered all of my options properly. I made the decision to go ahead and because I'm childishly impatient and asked how quickly I could get my 10 new nashers, Dr Patel happily made a start on my full assessment straight away to save me an extra train trip and booked me in to have my teeth prepared and temporaries put in the week after.
I was so nervous. I thought I'd be screaming in agony and leave with a set of weird fake Halloween teeth. Soon after I was told "OK, that's the preparations all finished" much faster than I expected with absolutely no pain at all. I built up the courage to finally rub my tongue along my new 'fangs' and dribbled a big numb smile when I realised that my teeth had barely changed. In went, the temporary teeth and out came the mirror. I was overcome with relief immediately. I was simply in love with my new teeth - and these were only temporary ones! Dr Patel helped me choose the right shade for me and over the next few days the Smile Clinic were in touch with me to make sure I was happy and see if I wanted to make any changes while my final set was being made.
Only 2 weeks later it was finally time to get my permanent porcelain veneers. An even easier session in the chair than before and it wasn't long before I was falling-in-love yet again with my new permanent teeth. It's difficult to put into words how happy I am with the results. I didn't realise how much I had subconsciously covered my mouth and smiled with my mouth closed for so many years in photos. My friends and family can’t believe how natural they look as I smugly smile as they eat their fear-mongering words! Dr Patel was as attentive, eloquent and obsessively meticulous as you'd want from someone working on your teeth. It's obvious that Dr Patel and everyone else at the smile clinic is extremely passionate and takes great pride in what they do. Thank you for making me smile. It was worth every penny."...”

As a young child, the teeth either side of my front teeth never grew beyond the size of milk teeth, giving my smile an unfortunate ‘rabbity’ look. My dentist at the time decided fitting crowns was the answer. And for around 10 years, I didn’t think about it again. Until, in my early twenties, I became self-conscious of the shadow appearing at my gum line. I was careful not to throw my head back in laughter, should anyone catch a glimmer of metal and realize I had ‘fake teeth’.
Doctor Patel seemed to understand my insecurities immediately and talked me through the options for porcelain replacements. We discussed size, shape and tone and the team walked me through a comprehensive treatment plan. I felt instantly reassured that the new crowns would not feel nor look ‘fake’ at all and that I was in the best possible hands.
Doctor Patel was incredibly thorough. At each stage - from setting the moulds to fitting, to getting the colour tone just right - he took his time, checked then double-checked and took regular photographs to monitor progress. Some of the appointments lasted a couple of hours and weren’t particularly pleasant i.e. removing the original crowns, but I was talked through the process and made to feel comfortable and relaxed. While he made clear recommendations based on his experience and expertise, I was always consulted and felt like my opinion was valued.
The result has been better than I could have ever imagined. I find myself smiling and laughing more openly and freely. Friends have even commented on the change."...”

"I have always been conscious of the length of my front teeth and had resigned myself that nothing could be done about them (unless I wanted to rip them out and start again). I came across the Harley Street Smile Clinic by chance one day and thought I may as well send in my photo to confirm that nothing could be done. Within an hour or so I was sent a free simulation of my teeth looking just how I had always wanted them and for an exceptionally reasonable price! I couldn't believe it, it seemed too good to be true so I made my appointment. When I arrived at the clinic for my Mini Smile Makeover (stain blasting, contouring and whitening) I was very nervous but my fears were allayed completely by the receptionist who told me I had nothing to worry about and that my procedure was very simple. Dr Sahil Patel was absolutely wonderful, he has a very calm and collected manner and made me feel comfortable throughout. He started by examining my teeth and then talked me through what I wanted from the treatment. He was very thorough in his explanation of the treatment and asked about my expectations. The treatment itself was slightly uncomfortable at times but never painful and Dr Patel was quick to stop if he felt I was in discomfort. The contouring was done in stages to ensure my teeth were exactly how I wanted them, I was in control of how short I wanted to go. After the treatment, he showed me how to correctly use the bleach retainers at home which I think was fab as I wouldn't have had a clue! What was also really nice was that I didn't feel rushed at any point, they made me feel as if they had all the time in the world for me. I am absolutely thrilled with my new smile and I have to take a look in every mirror I pass! I would wholeheartedly recommend the Harley Street Smile Clinic and particularly Dr Sahil Patel. I cannot express the depth of gratitude and happiness of the level of service I received from Doctor Sahil and his Team! A massive thank you to the amazing Doctor Sahil, Saoirse and Genina!! Incredible level of professionalism, dedication and hardwork that they have put into my treatment. They were absolutely brilliant, encompassing and friendly throughout. Just outstanding level of skill, passion and knowledge from Doctor Sahil too. I was always greeted by a warm and inviting front of house team, thank you to Rania as well!!
My first appointment, Doctor Sahil kindly greeted me with his team, they made me feel soo comfortable and at ease given it was the first time I had embarked on getting veneers. Dr Sahil made sure to check my initial dental health to see there isn't any underlying issues that would affect my treatment so I can get the best result out of it. And after he thoroughly made sure to check, clean, take X-rays, he went through with me how my dental health was. I was given some paperwork to go over as well such as the breakdown of cost. After nthe dental check, Dr Sahil took images and put together on a specialised software to digitally show before and after how my teeth would like by using a professional photographer's camera. He then took impressions of my top & bottom row of teeths with a mould in order to create mouth trays for my teeths to whiten them. Dr Sahil went through in detail as to how much to use the whitening syringes & how to keep the trays clean & he even kindly reiterated this by leaving a set of instructions in a luxe travel bag where the syringes were kept in. Talk about attention to detail!
Second stage of treatment was getting the temporary veneers! Big day & Dr Sahil went through what to expect throughout the duration of my appointment such as how the temporary veneers would look and feel. As well what tools he would use throughout and explained why they would be used. He gave me so much heads up on what the tools would sounds like throughout the procedure to make it comfortable for me & that I could flag up at any point if I was feeling any discomfort, which I didn't. I had injections to numb my gums, which I hardly felt as Dr Sahil, once again was very informative & guided me on my breath work so well to not feel a needles going into them! Amazing level of composure & kept the atmosphere so calm & reassuring. Dr Sahil was incredibly thoughtful throughout & always kept checking in with me to see if I'm doing okay & cheering me on given he was doing all the hard work! Dr Sahil attention to detail is commendable and he never left me wondering what was going on.
Final stage of my treatment! Super big day as I was getting the final fit of the veneers. Was warmly greeting as always & he checked in again with how I had been doing with the temporary veneers & thoroughly explained what will happen with the final fitting. Dr Sahil explained what to anticipate when taking the temporary veneers would feel and sound like when taking them off. I felt super relaxed and ready for it! When he placed the veneers in, he still was considerate to ask how they looked and whether I still would like to go ahead. He gave me the space & comfortability to make my decision. I was very happy & required no changes and went ahead with the fitting of my final veneers! He explained as always what materials and tools he is using and how it would feel. I was wover the moon seeing the final results!! So elated!!! They redid the impressions of my teeths so I can continue with the whitening. An amazing team!! They created a beautiful smile for me and I'm eternally grateful for it!!
